MORE great quotes from Ann Coulter

Ann on Columbia University inviting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak:

Columbia president Lee Bollinger claimed the Ahmadinejad invitation is in keeping with "Columbia's long-standing tradition of serving as a major forum for robust debate."

Except Columbia doesn't have that tradition. This is worse than saying "the dog ate my homework." It's like saying "the dog ate my homework" when you're Michael Vick and everyone knows you've killed your dog. --from Tase Him, Bro!

Ann on liberal's use of the word "hypocrite":

Liberals don't even know what they mean by "hypocrite" anymore. It's just a word they throw out in a moment of womanly pique, like "extremist" -- or, come to think of it, "gay." How is Craig a "hypocrite," much less a "blatant hypocrite"?

Assuming the worst about Craig, the Senate has not held a vote on outlawing homosexual impulses. It voted on gay marriage. Craig not only opposes gay marriage, he's in a heterosexual marriage with kids. Talk about walking the walk!

Did Craig propose marriage to the undercover cop? If not, I'm not seeing the "hypocrisy." -- from CRUISING WHILE REPUBLICAN

C-SPAN promotes Code Pink during their disruption of Heritage Foundation Panel

It seems as if Michael Savage is right about C-SPAN - C-SPAN has no problem promoting radical left-wing groups while censoring right-wing groups.

As I was winding down last night (Thursday) I came across a replay of the Heritage Foundation's panel discussion on the Petraeus-Crocker report. That it began with protests by some members of Code Pink was not so surprising, since they had disrupted Petraeus' report a few days before. What was surprising was that as Code Pink was disrupting the panel and giving their speeches on the stage standing in front of the panel C-SPAN gave a description of the group - referring to the group by name - and even giving Code Pink's website address!!

What does this tell us?

It tells us that if a radical left-wing group such as Code Pink gets up and disrupts a panel discussion that C-SPAN will help promote such a group.

When it comes to those on the right, this isn't the case. When is the last time you have seen C-SPAN promote any right-wing counter demonstrations in response to the anti-war hippies that descend on DC? I can't recall any.

UNCIVIL LIBERTIES: Michael Savage’s Commentary on September 11, 2007

Today I want to speak about the uncivil liberties being used by our enemies to destroy us. Both the enemy within and without, who are slowly but surely gaining the upper hand in their attempt to weaken us to the point where we can no longer defend ourselves. Their ultimate goal? The end of freedom and the imposition of Islam upon every man woman and child.

What are these uncivil liberties? The enemy within uses the uncivil liberty of Freedom of speech to preach hatred for our way of life. He uses freedom of assembly, to gather in mosques. He uses freedom of religion to hide behind the minarets while plotting our end. He even uses our freedom of the press to disseminate his calls for Jihad or Holy War right within our own nation.

There comes a time in every nation’s history, where certain freedoms must be curtailed, if the nation is to survive. IN the extreme, this is known as Martial Law. At this time in our history we do not require Martial Law, to protect ourselves. We require the Patriot Act, gutted by the enemy within, the ACLU. We require the freedom to tell each and every American, where the terrorists must be hiding, what they look like, what language they speak, and who to report suspicious persons to. These common sense acts of vigilance are not now being enacted, owing to the dominance of the left wing media, and the stranglehold on our police agencies by civil libertarians both within and outside the courts.

It was said “when the leaders will not lead the people, the people must lead the leaders”. Now is our time to lead our leaders, in this war against radical Islam. We the people must be vigilant, where the government dares not tread. We must demand a means such as an 800 number that all suspicious activity or persons (such a single central anti-terror number does not exist, even today!) can be reported to the authorities

In conclusion, we are as vulnerable to being attacked, if not more vulnerable, than we were on September 11th, 2001. Only when we the people stand up to the gangs of the illegitimate, suicidal, leftists, in the courts, the press and the government itself, do we have a whisper of a chance to stop the next attack. These crazy leftists would put their socialist principles above survival. Let me remind them, that the ultimate principle is survival.

I think I believe that we white americans should just breed as frequently as possible to tell the rest of the world to shove it! we should have breeding farms here in the U.S!"

Actually, not only do those who claim that the earth is "overpopulated" think that everyone else should have less children, but they themselves usually abhor the idea of having children. They see children as a burden and a curse.

Some recently called for parents to have ONE LESS child as a way of combating global warming! Read the article on it here

Many nations have a NEGATIVE BIRTH RATE which means that they are dying out faster than they are replacing those who die. More die each year than are born. They have a GREAT NEED to have more children so that their nation doesn't collapse socially and economically.

Why I love ANN COULTER

"Democrats couldn't care less if people in Indiana hate them. But if Europeans curl their lips, liberals can't look at themselves in the mirror."

"Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like Liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now."

"To a liberal 2,200 military deaths in the entire course of the war in Iraq is unconscionable, but 1.3 million aborted babies in America every year is something to celebrate."

"Liberals can't just come out and say they want to take more of our money, kill babies, and discriminate on the basis of race."

"Taxes are like abortion, and not just because both are grotesque procedures supported by Democrats. You're for them or against them. Taxes go up or down; government raises taxes or lowers them. But Democrats will not let the words "abortion" or "tax hikes" pass their lips. Which one was an "investment in our future" and which one is a "choice"? Was that killing babies or taking our money?"

"This is the way addled liberals really think. Even as they champion sucking the brains out of little babies, they think of themselves as indelibly compassionate because they favor an overweening, behemoth federal government."

"We hear a lot about the 2 million people in America's jails and how many of them are black, but we rarely talk about the 35 to 40 million abortions since Roe v. Wade and how many of those babies were black. When your position on black abortion is identical to the Klan's, maybe it's time to reconsider."

"In the United States, more than 30 million babies have been killed by abortion since Roe v. Wade versus seven abortion providers killed. Yeah -- keep your eye on those Christians!"

"Liberals are more upset when a tree is chopped down than when a child is aborted. Even if one rates an unborn child less than a full-blown person, doesn't the unborn child rate slightly higher than vegetation?"

"To be sure, conservative radio talk show hosts have a built-in audience unavailable to liberals: People driving cars to some sort of job."

"In the 1970s, Paul Ehrlich wrote the best-selling book The Population Bomb, predicting a global famine and warning that entire nations would cease to exist by the end of the twentieth century -- among them England. "[I]t is now too late," he wrote, "to take action to save many of those people." In 2001 -- despite the perplexing persistent existence of England -- the Sierra Club listed Ehrlich's Population Bomb as among its books recommended by Sierra readers. How many trees had to be chopped down to make the paper for all those copies of The Population Bomb?"

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."

"A year after Eisenstadt, the malleable "right to privacy" metastasized from a right to contraception for married couples to a right to destroy human life in Roe v. Wade. What about the poor little tyke's privacy? The question misses the point. "Constitutional right" means "Whatever Liberals Want." Society cannot legislate what goes on "in the bedroom." But if we can't legislate what goes on in the bedroom, why can't I hide money from the IRS under my mattress?"

"Democrats cannot conceive of "hate speech" towards Christians because, in their eyes, Christians always deserve it."

"Assuming you aren't a fetus, the Left's most dangerous religious belief is their adoration of violent criminals."

"(Liberals say) (t)he death penalty does not deter. How do liberals know? This is an article of faith, not a statement of empirical fact. If the death penalty doesn't deter murder, how come Michael Moore is still alive and I'm not on death row?"

"...Peter Brimelow's definition of a "racist" (is) "someone who is winning an argument with a liberal."

"The New York Times and the rest of the mainstream media will only refer to partial birth abortion as "what its opponents refer to as partial birth abortion." What do its supporters call it? Casual Fridays? Bean-with-bacon potato-chip dip?"

"During a January 15, 2005 conference call with reporters, (Howard) Dean, being a raving lunatic said, "No doctor is going to do an abortion on a live fetus. That doesn't happen. Doctors don't do that. If they do, they'll get their license pulled as well they should." (Yes, you're reading that right.)"

"The Democrats need pro-life votes, but there's the small problem that they won't budge an inch ..ion. So they make crazy arguments for abortion, allowing not the tiniest restriction, while periodically pretending to have qualms about abortion. It's the most amazing spectacle, as if Ronald Reagan were slashing taxes talking about what a "sad, tragic choice" it is to cut taxes or giving speeches about how tax cuts should be "safe, legal, and rare." Except that even Reagan didn't have the gusto for cutting taxes that the Democrats have for ending human life."

"At private schools, 80 percent of the personnel are teachers. By contrast, at public schools only about 50 percent of the personnel are actual teachers -- most of the rest are cogs in the endless layers of machinery of the "education" bureaucracy. This would be like having 26 full-time coaches for a 26-man baseball team."

"Nonetheless, comparing hourly wages based on the teachers' self-reports, Vedder says, "Teachers earn more per hour than architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, statisticians, biological and life scientists, atmospheric and space scientists, registered nurses, physical therapists, university level foreign-language teachers, librarians, technical writers, musicians, artists, and editors and reporters....All told, teachers average hourly compensation plus benefits exceeds the average for all professional workers by roughly 10-15 percent."

"Teachers in the private sector earn about 60 percent less than public school teachers. And their students actually learn to read."

"In 1987, Oprah Winfrey said, "Research studies now project that one in five -- listen to me, hard to believe -- one in five heterosexuals could be dead from AIDS at the end of the next three years. That's by 1990. One in five. It is no longer just a gay disease. Believe me."

"As Steven Guilbeault of Greenpeace explained, "global warming can mean colder, it can mean drier, it can mean wetter." No set of facts can disprove the environmentalists' secular religion. In 2004, former vice president Al Gore gave a speech on global warming in New York City on the coldest day of the year. Warm trends prove global warming. Cold trends also prove global warming. This is the philosophy of a madman."

Christy's Story

This is a story that a lot of people still dont know about me, but some do. When I was 16 I was dating a guy who I was serious with, or as serious as you can be when you are 16. I thought I was in love, which in fact it wasnt at all.

I got pregnant while I was a sophomore in high school. Jamal was a senior ready to graduate. I found out I was pregnant on the day he graduated from high school. I broke the news to him that afternoon. He immediately told me to get an abortion. I thought about what he had said but also had my parents to face, having to tell them that I was pregnant. At this time I was one month along. I went home and avoided my parents. The next day, I knew that I couldnt ever have an abortion, while I was too young to be trying to raise a child, I was still responsible for having made that child. The next day I went to my mom and told her that I needed to talk to her, I told her I was pregnant, although she already knew because the doctor called the house and told her. She was waiting for me to come to her. My father already knew too.

My mom and dad sat me down and asked me what I was going to do. I told them I had no clue. We started talking about options, because at this time I still believed that Jamal was going to be there for me. My dad told me to face reality, Jamal had a basketball scholarship and wasnt going to give that up because I was pregnant. I refused to believe it. Sure enough, a month later I found out that Jamal refused to have anything to do with me and the baby and had another girl a month pregnant. He denied my baby and told me that I had to be pregnant by someone else, although I wasnt. That was the last I heard from Jamal, I never saw him again after the day that I told him I was pregnant.

My parents and I sat down and started figuring out what I was going to do with my life and my child that I had growing inside of me. I was two months pregnant at this time. I started looking at adoption. My parents are religious and we were looking into different agencies. I chose a Christian adoption agency. I met with the woman who ran the agency and fell in love with it. I began looking through differnet peoples books that they had put together. I looked at this one couple and immediately knew that I wanted them to raise my child. I began talking with them on the telephone. We set up a breakfast for them to come and meet me and my parents.

When I met them, I knew right away. They were who I wanted to raise my child. I was about three months at the time. I wanted to make sure that the people I had chosen knew what they were getting themselves into. I am white and was pregnant by a black man. They were both white and wanted them to know that they would face some ignorance because people would look down upon them like the wife had cheated or something like that. Not to mention the fact that when my little girl grew up she was going to be faced with it. They were prepared and were willing to face those issues. They attended every doctors appointment with me and even recorded some of the ultrasounds. They were the greatest people that had been brought into my life in a long time. They were a blessing.

They were there for the birth. The husband told me when the contractions were coming and the wife was there to help me breathe. They were my coaches during lamaz after all. They would drive every Tuesday after work, 2 hours to be there with me. The day after the birth I signed all of the adoption papers and named her what her parents wanted her named. I spent that whole night before up with her, just holding and talking to her. I knew what I was doing was the right thing. She deserved so much and these two wonderful people could give her all of that. They had so much love to give.

I watched them drive off with her in their backseat and it crushed me. It was the first time that I had cried over the whole thing. I was worried that they would never call me again, never let me see her. All these thoughts ran through my mind.

The following day they all vanished. She called me to see how I was doing. I once again felt everything was perfect and have never regreted it. My little girl is now 3 1/2 years old. She has a wonderful life with two wonderful parents who love her dearly. She is a gift, for both of them and for me. I still get letters and pictures. I get together with them as often as I can. When she is old enough to understand she will be told what took place. I love my littel girl and this is the best life that I could give her. Adoption was the best thing that I could ever have done, for both me and my child.

The Over-Population Myth

Stop Over-population?

by Bob Enyart, KGOV.com

Six people just survived the sinking of an ocean vessel. They are afloat in a lifeboat with only enough water for five. On board are a doctor, a carpenter, a nurse, a blind elderly woman, a sailor, and a counselor.

Millions of public school students given this scenario are then asked, "Who should be thrown overboard?" Environmentalists designed this exercise to teach public school students to solve problems by "eliminating" excess people.

Jacques Cousteau said, "to stabilize the world population we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. It is a horrible thing to say," he admitted, "but it's just as bad not to say it." This Hitlerian sentiment, published in UNESCO Courier in November 1991, is not rare among envirochondriacs.

Britain's Prince Philip, president of the Worldwide Fund for Nature, is quoted by The New American's Robert Lee, Sept. 5, 1994 saying that he would like to be reincarnated as a "killer virus to lower human population levels." Prince HIVlip, perhaps?

How does anyone know there is only enough water for five? Utterly discredited, yet an authority to liberals, is Population Bomb author Paul Ehrlich, who has apparently not had a single prediction come true. America, he declared: would have widespread food rationing by the late 70s, would be "literally dying of thirst" by 1984, and would have 65 million famine deaths in the 80s.

Jack Fish, Brighton, Colorado public school teacher, school board member and local columnist insisted on KGOV.com's Bob Enyart Live that the reason for Somalia's famine was their over-population:

Enyart: What is Somalia's population?

Fish: I'm not sure.

Enyart: I'm not asking for an exact number, just to the nearest million.

Fish: I don't know.

Enyart: Well, then, if they are over populated, what is their population density per square mile?

Fish: I don't know.

Somalia's density is 29 people per square mile according to The 1994 World Almanac. Apocalyptic doomsayers, these envirochondriacs flatly invent their facts. Somalia is under-populated, which often does produce famine. Compare Somalia's population density to countries in Western Europe. As a rule of thumb, countries with greater population density have higher standards of living, literacy rates, and life expectancies. The following numbers indicate the people per square mile for:

Nice Places Lousy Places (people per square mile)

Austria 243 Angola 18

Belgium 848 Bolivia 17

Denmark 310 Botswana 5

England 613 Ctrl. Afr. Rep. 12

France 259 Chad 10

Germany 583 Congo 17

Ireland 129 Laos 48

Israel 605 Liberia 64

Italy 497 Libya 6

Japan 830 Mozambique 50

Luxembourg 400 Namibia 4

Netherlands 958 Niger 16

Poland 317 Panama 84

Rhode Is. 848 Paraguay 31

Spain 200 Peru 45

Switzerland 428 Russia 22

Athens 30,237 Sudan 29

Boston 8,172 Somalia 29

Paris 20,185 Uruguay 45

Rome 43,949 Venezuela 58

San Fran. 9,315 Zaire 43

Sydney 10,460 Zambia 30

Toronto 20,420 Zimbabwe 73

Countries with lower population densities generally have lower standards of living. Notice the scarcity of human beings in the poor nations. Whereas some of the most beautiful places on earth, and certainly the most prosperous and desirable, have tremendously dense populations. Naples, Italy has 48,032 people per square mile and Madrid, Spain has 68,385 ppsm!

In the Far East, Japan, at 830 people per square mile, has a much higher standard of living than countries liberals argue are over-populated such as China, at 315 and India at 700. Taiwan has one of the highest standards of living in the East, with 1,503 people per square mile, with five times the density as those of much lower prosperity on the mainland.

People are assets, not liabilities. Socialists and communists, however, since they must provide for so many helpless dependents, see people as consumers, rather than the producers most are. A few hundred years ago, famine was rampant in North America. Today, with a nearly thousand-fold increase in population, we not only feed ourselves but much of the left-wing world.

If the world's five-billion-plus people went to Colorado for a day, they could fit easily into one speck on the map of Colorado, the 404 square miles of Rocky Mountain National Park. They would not have to squeeze together like sardines, but could stand comfortably. The world's population would double before spilling over into the nearest town.

The sky is falling only in the chicken little minds of the over-population purveyor. Rather than a full house or a crowded lifeboat, an orbiting alien would view our world as nearly empty, as airline passengers can attest. Paul Ehrlich publicly bet a conservative economist that during the 1980s, natural resources would grow more scarce. Ehrlich chose five minerals to monitor. In 1990, losing the bet, Ehrlich made his wife sign the check, which amounted to over $500. The resources he was sure would become more scarce and therefore more expensive, in reality sold at reduced prices due to their greater availability world-wide.

Even the end-of-the-world prophets admit there is no global food shortage. Famine, like that in the former Soviet Union and in Somalia, results from false ideas, harmful religions and interventionist governments, not from too many people.

The Agricultural Economic Institute at Oxford University has estimated that, with current technology, the world could feed 100 billion people, while it is home to less than one-tenth that number, according to Robert Lee. Rapid progress in agri- and aqua-culture make it impossible to determine the upper limit of our future food supply.

Who do you throw overboard? The sailor, the doctor, the nurse? "No, the old woman is already sick," countless students have decided, "it's her time to go anyway." Planned Parenthood's founder and longtime president Margaret Sanger wrote that the handicapped, including the "blind, deaf, dumb, mute and epileptics," were the "dead weight of human waste." See her Pivot of Civilization, page 112, available through most public libraries.

With that anti-handicapped attitude from Planned Parenthood's founder, it is not surprising that they support killing handicapped unborn children, since they are only "human waste." It is not surprising that Planned Parenthood still gives out awards in Sanger's name.

When people decide that others are better off dead "for their own sake," it is not a far jump to Jacques Cousteau saying they are better off "eliminated" for the good of all. Whatever happened to one-for-all and all-for-one?

Historically, the over-population myth encouraged the brutal slaughter of the French Revolution. Greek philosophers feared the overcrowding of their ancient world. And even further back in time, the Babylonian and Assyrian accounts of the great flood held that, "the gods led by Enlil, agreed to cleanse the earth of an over-populated humanity."

Those who want ultimate control over others have long wielded the over-population myth. Yet 2,800 years ago wise Solomon knew that, "In the multitude of people is the king's honor, but in the lack of people is the destruction of the prince" (Proverbs 14:28).
